There’s been a lot of excitement with this launch, so naturally, we’ve received a lot of questions and queries about the NAD+ Pen.
We’ve answered the most frequently asked questions below!
Does it hurt?
Most users report minimal to zero discomfort, much less than a traditional injection or blood draw.
How fast will I feel results?
Some people notice improved energy and focus within days, while others feel gradual benefits over 2 to 4 weeks.
How often should I use it?
That really depends on you!
We typically recommend starting with one dose per day for the first three days, as this helps kickstart your system. After that, most people switch to every other day or 1–2 times per week, depending on how they feel.
Listen to your body. Everyone’s NAD+ needs are different, which is why some people thrive on daily doses, while others do best with just a couple per week.
Can I travel with it?
Yes! Our NAD pen is portable, and the cartridges can be carried easily. Plus, you get a free travel case with cold cooler packs. Just check airline rules for liquid medications and injection devices.
Is it safe?
Yes. NAD+ is a naturally occurring compound already present in your cells. When used properly, NAD+ injections are considered safe.
Mild side effects may include:
- Flushing
- Very slight soreness at the injection site
- Temporary nausea (rare)
To stay safe:
- Follow dosing instructions carefully
- Consult with your doctor before starting if you have any medical conditions or are on medications
Is it better than oral NAD+ supplements?
When it comes to absorption, subcutaneous delivery generally does have an edge, yes.
Oral NAD+ supplements can be partially broken down in the digestive tract, which may reduce how much your body actually uses.
The NAD+ pen offers a more direct route, helping to support more efficient uptake. That said, both methods have their place depending on your health goals and lifestyle!
